you should remember that these people have next to nothing. They will treat you so well. If you have any room in your suitcase please bring any shoes for children, the women cleaning your room will be so kind to you if you bring any clothes you have that you dont wear anymore...they LOVE baseball, if you have a hat, a baseball glove or anything like that bring it for the locals...you can barter with some of these things as well. Remember that this is pretty custom that people donate to the locals, since they make next to nothing...anything you leave on the bed is assumed a donation for the cleaning lady.
also, make sure to take your kindness and understanding to Cuba, these people live a hard life, but still have smiles on their faces.

Socks. Passport. Backpack. Sunscreen. Hat. Peanut Butter. Suitcase. Undergarmnets. Shoes. Shirts. Pants. Sandels. Nail paint remover thingy. Nail polish. Sunglasses. Bread. A computer. Camera. Protection. A necklace. Lip gloss. Shampoo. Tooth brush. Money.
And last but not least - a good smile!
